Offseason check-in: golf, concerts, family, and more

Hey Fam,

Offseason is in full swing, and I've been making the most of it. After the pace of the season, it always feels good to take a breath and be fully present with my crew. The offseason gives me space to rest, reflect, and soak up time with the people who mean the most to me... my family. It's not often I get to slow down, and this part of the year is essential not just for recovery but to reconnect with what grounds me. I'm feeling refreshed and thankful!

Underrated Golf's First U.S. Stop

The Underrated Golf Tour officially kicked off its first U.S. stop in Denver, Colorado, and even though I couldn't be there in person, I was proud to see the way the golfers showed up and showed out.

This tour is all about creating access and opportunity in a spot that hasn't always been inclusive, and watching the tour grow is a real honor.

The talent, the drive, the energy out in Denver set the tone for a strong summer. Shout out to the Eisenhower Golf Course Champs Gianna Singh and Morgan Riley. Keep working!

Father's Day Love

Had a great Father's Day this year. There's nothing like being a dad. It truly is the best job in the world.

This year I got to slow down, celebrate with my family, and reflect on how far we've come. This one felt especially meaningful as I stepped into my 16th NBA season, the same number my Dad Dell played during his time in the league. That's been a goal of mine since day one, and it's an honor to be able to carry that forward.

To mark the milestone, we dropped the Player Exclusive Father and Son edition of Gentleman's Cut: a 16-year bourbon that's all about the legacy, guidance, and gratitude that brought us here. I'm grateful every day for the example my dad set. If you have someone in your life who helped shape your journey, I hope you get a chance to enjoy it with them. Like Gentlemen.

Concert Season's Been Hitting!

One of the best parts of the offseason is having the space to just enjoy things I don't always get time for during the year. Lately, that's meant catching some live music. Coldplay and Mumford & Sons both put on INCREDIBLE shows. I also got to see Benson Boone and Justin Timberlake at BottleRock Napa earlier in the summer.. both did not disappoint. Watching artists go all in on stage is always inspiring. That kind of energy, that connection with the crowd, it just hits different.

Visited Ballhalla For the First Time

I pulled up to my first Valkyries game and got to see them take down the Storm in front of a PACKED house. The energy in Ballhalla was real. Proud to support the squad and witness that kind of greatness up close. I got to give some love to Tip, she was in takeover mode! I'll definitely be back.

Something Animated is Coming...🐐

Excited to finally share the cast for GOAT, the animated movie I'm producing with Sony Pictures Animation and Unanimous Media. I'll be voicing one of the characters alongside Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, Nick Kroll, Nicola Coughlan, David Harbour, and more talented individuals. This story has so much heart and energy and we cannot wait to bring it to life! More on that soon...

These last few weeks have been full of the things that matter: faith, family, growth, and a little fun along the way. The season may be over, but the work never really stops. Thanks for walking through it with me.
