Volume 12
Closing out summer strong and looking ahead
Hey ya'll,
As the summer winds down, I’ve been looking back on everything these past few months have held. From ACC Tahoe to BottleRock, connecting with fans at home and across the world… it has been one for the books. I am thankful for the experiences, the people I've shared them with, and the chance to recharge before the grind starts up again.
So Much Love in China
We wrapped up my China Tour with Curry Brand and the energy was unmatched. The love here is always next level and I am grateful every time I get to come back. This trip had some firsts, including the international debut of Curry Camp, the very first CurryCon, and the drop of my new Curry Brand shoe, the UA Curry Series 7 "World Tour." The passion the fans bring in every city here is extraordinary and it keeps me motivated year after year.
First, I have to talk about the river boat tour. The spicy crawfish dish was no joke - I even wore gloves to eat them! I've been working on my Mandarin, it's definitely a work in progress, but it's gotten a lot better. I have such a high appreciation for the Chinese culture and every year that I come back becomes even more special than the last.
Curry Camp is always a good time, and I can't wrap my head around the fact that we've been doing it for 10 years now. It was truly amazing to bring Curry Camp all the way to Asia.
To be able to mentor some of the top talent in the U.S., and now, across the world, is such an honor. I also got a chance to catch up with newly signed Curry Brand athlete, Jacob Zhu.
Jacob is one of the most rapidly emerging basketball prospects from the Class of 2026, and also the first athlete from China to sign with Curry Brand. He told me he used to watch my Masterclass and use it as a practice tool and now, here he is, on a panel with me talking about what's next for him and which colleges he's considering after graduation. I love seeing full circle moments like that.
Seeing CurryCon come to life was unreal. It was a three-day festival open to all fans from across Asia and it offered interactive exhibits and new product drops. Speaking of new product drops, the the UA Curry Series 7 “World Tour” sneakers were a hit.
These are the first of its kind, a "super shoe" if you will. We wanted to create a shoe that aligns with my explosive playing style. Some key aspects: lightweight agility, long-haul durability, and elite responsiveness. I’ve never worn a shoe that feels this light yet this sturdy, with the perfect balance of court feel and cushioning. Hands down, it’s the best basketball shoe I’ve ever worn. It's built to withstand that next Playoff run that I'm going after.
Can't wait for more of y'all to put these on your feet.
All in all, China showed out once again. Y’all never disappoint, and I’ll carry that energy with me all season long. Watch the recap on YouTube below:
GOAT is Coming to Life
The trailer for GOAT is officially out, and it’s been amazing to finally share a first look at what we’ve been working on. This project has been a labor of love from day one, and now it’s starting to take shape in a way that feels real.
Even more exciting, Ayesha joined the voice cast alongside an incredible group of talent, including Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, Nick Kroll, Nicola Coughlan, David Harbour, and more. We’ve got a team that’s bringing so much personality and heart to these characters, and I can’t wait for you all to meet them.
The story is packed with energy, laughs, and a lot of heart, but it’s also about the things that matter — friendship, perseverance, and chasing greatness in your own way. I’m proud of what we’re creating and even more excited for you to experience it when it hits theaters in 2026.
My Book, Shot Ready, Drops September 9th
My new book, Shot Ready, officially releases on September 9th, but you can pre-order it now. In these pages, I'm sharing the blueprint that has guided me, from practice courts to the biggest stages, and how that same approach can help you stay ready for whatever is next. It's full of personal stories, lessons I've learned, and over 100 never-before-seen photos that bring the journey to life.
My hope is that Shot Ready doesn't just tell you what I believe, but that it helps you believe in what is possible for yourself.
This summer has been a blessing in so many ways. I'm heading into the fall feeling recharged, focused, and thankful.
Talk soon,
Stephen Curry
